SAT - Scholastic Aptitude Test
The SAT is administered by College Board. The SAT has three sections: math, critical reading, and writing. The scores range from 200 to 800 per section.
ACT - American College Test
The ACT test was developed by the American College Testing Program. The ACT exam has four sections: Reading, English, Math, and Science.
The maximum score is 36 and the test is used by colleges to rate college applicants.
